As an automotive machinist, I've worked with engine parts for the past 30 years. I began to assemble these unique pieces in my mind and then experimented with welding them together.

In the beginning I wanted my art to be more than just something to look at. I wanted it to be functional, as well. My clocks, lamps and tables serve double-duty. Eventually, I began experimenting with abstract shapes that had no function other than their unique visual appeal.
